Gold Oak Ranch is owned by David and Ann Scheuring, who have been farming together for over 40 years. David hails from a long line of farmers and has been active in the evolution of  organic production and sustainable agriculture techniques. In addition to his work on the farm, he is also active in the community, having served as director of the Yolo County Flood Control District and as a founding member of Capay Valley Vision. Ann is also an expert in her own right. She is the author of A Guidebook to California Agriculture and Valley Empires.
